The AK 1974 is the absolute flagship of the Framus guitar line! This very special guitar features a unique neck-thru design, with possibly the softest heel you will ever come across. Acclaimed for its extreme playability in all positions and its wide array of tones, the AK 1974 is the guitar that you have been dreaming about.

What makes this instrument sound so great? It could be the semi-hollow body construction and the single F-hole in the top, which are responsible for the incredibly warm and organic tone. Of course, the great tones could also be a product of the superior Seymour Duncan electronics and the 6-way rotary switch. Or maybe it is the great, hand-selected tone woods that make this guitar sound so wonderful. We would like to think that it is the combination of all these elements that makes the AK 1974 something truly special.
